The Who, What, When, Where and Why of Centric
You can’t know where you’re going if you don’t know where you’ve been.
Once upon a time on an Arizona fall day, a musician and a techie sat down for a routine lunch at Jason’s Deli not knowing that their sandwiches were about to become the fuel for the brainstorming session of a lifetime. This lunch set the wheels in motion for what would soon become Arizona’s premier event production company, Centric Events & Rentals.
Alright, the lunch might not have been that dramatic, but it was that monumental. Co-founders Dustin Dluhy and Daniel Pitner really did develop the idea for Centric, Arizona Production Rentals back then, over lunch after realizing that there was a huge hole to fill in the event planning industry. Somewhere between creepy Craigslist Joe and international AV companies Centric was born.
What started out as just an idea at lunch has evolved over the last eight years, into a successful, all-inclusive event production company that serves events of all types, sizes, and budgets.
Centric started because two people weren’t afraid to break the mold. Centric has stayed because we do it all, and we do it better.
What Matters To Us
In the words of Will Rogers, “Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.” The sky’s not the limit because there is no limit. There is no point of excellence that we can reach that would make us sit back and stop trying to do better. We will learn, improve, and innovate constantly to better serve you.
You won’t find an artist putting out a piece of art that they feel is anything but excellent, and it’s the same here at Centric. Our work is our art, and we hold ourselves to the highest standards of quality, attention to detail, and customer service. Some might call us OCD, but we prefer detail oriented.
We are genuine. We are honest. We are trustworthy and truthful. In an industry that may not always put these values in the forefront, we strive to be different. We’re honest with not only our clients, but also ourselves. Our team is completely transparent about everything with everyone.
If we didn’t think outside the box, Centric wouldn’t still be standing today. Our creativity and ability to deliver winning solutions keeps clients coming back to us again and again. We aren’t afraid to explore new frontiers and do things differently, after all that’s the way to stand out.
While we are looking to continually grow and self-develop, you can’t grow without roots. Centric’s roots are grounded in the experience and expertise of our team. We never shy away from self-development and ensure that all of our team members have a solid background and stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and ideas.
Wear many hats
It’s rare that someone comes to us just for lighting or just for audio. When you work with an event production company, we think it should be a one-stop-shop experience. Our team members are creative experts with talents that run the gamut from design all the way to extremely technical audio visual knowledge.
You won’t find any “clock-punchers” on the Centric team. Every one of our team members is just as invested in your event as you are, and that’s the way that it should be. If things aren’t going right for you, they aren’t going right for us.
